July 2 and July 3

Randall, Ryan, Paul and Luke at Ontario Beach Park, Sunday July 2.

The temperature has been a little cooler this year than last for the ICP kids. I think it was 90 to 100 degrees last year. The past two days it has been around 85. It has really been beautiful, but definitly on the hot side for Paul and Luke!

Yesterday we took the kids to Ontario Beach Park to watch the sunset and eat an ice cream at Abbott's. They also went swimming at the YMCA and played basketball and pool while I worked.

Tonight we had a campfire. We roasted marshmallows and played charades, Randall's favorite game. The 'lightning bugs' were out and Luke got to catch and see his very first fire fly! Their chaparone, John, came around to check on Paul and Luke. We will be getting together with him next week either for a movie or maybe to a museum.

We are really having a nice time. It is a big transition for Luke but after just 48 hours he really seems like he is beginning to feel much more comfortable. Everyone is getting along great and we are all just enjoying eachother's company - it's really nice!
