Rain Rain and More Rain!

Actually, today it is finally sunny. But yesterday it rained so hard and for so long that many of our roads were flooded and closed. Unfortunately the ICP event last night had to be cancelled because of the weather. We were supposed to have a soccer match between the Irish and the American kids. Well, I guess we'll never know who might have won the match (chuckles).

On Tuesday night, Paul and Luke were a great help in the kitchen preparing a traditional sunday dinner. The photo above shows the dinner. That is a boiled cake in the foreground. If you click on boiled cake you can find a recipe for it, but it's not the same as the one I used. The one I used came all the way from Paul's family in Belfast. Anyhow, everything came out delicious and I ate so much, I still had a stomach ache the next morning!

Today I took the kids to Adventure Landing for Mini-Golf, The Wow Factory, and arcade games. It was a beautiful day for mini golf. For more photos, click here!
